Visa Information for International Conference in Xinxiang

New Policy Announcement 144-hour Visa-Free Transit Available!

We are delighted to inform you that starting from July 15, 2024, international attendees can utilize China's 144-hour (6-day) visa-free transit policy to attend our conference in Xinxiang through Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO). This policy allows you to stay anywhere within Henan Province.

Enhanced Immigration Services at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport. The airport has implemented several improvements to ensure smooth arrival:

• Clear signage and information boards.
• Special 144-hour visa-free processing lanes.

• Streamlined immigration procedures.

The 144-hour visa-free transit policy applies to passport holders from 54 countries:

Requirements

1. Hold a passport from one of the eligible countries
2. Have a valid international travel document
3. Hold confirmed onward flight tickets to a third country/region (different from the country of origin)
4. Stay within Henan province during the 144-hour period
5. Enter through Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO)

Important Notes

The 144-hour period starts from 00:00 the day following your entry.

You must enter AND exit through Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport. You can freely travel within Henan province, including Xinxiang, during your stay.

Travel Information

1. Airport Arrival

   • Look for the dedicated visa-free transit lanes at immigration
   • Present your onward flight ticket and conference invitation letter
   • Benefit from the new streamlined baggage check-through service

2. Transportation to Xinxiang

   • Distance from Zhengzhou Airport to Xinxiang: approximately 65 km
   • High-speed train available from Zhengzhou to Xinxiang (30 minutes)

Alternative Option

If you plan to stay longer than 144 hours or prefer not to use the transit visa policy, you can apply for a regular visa at your local Chinese embassy or consulate. We will provide:

• Conference schedule
